What are non-medical seniors home care services?
In order for seniors to remain at home they need assistance with day-to-day living activities such as household chores, personal hygiene, getting in and out of bed, visiting the Doctor, going grocery shopping etc. 3Cs Home Care Services provides seniors with these options so that they can continue to live at home.
Are Home Care Services covered by government funded care programs?
YES, government funded home care programs are coordinated through Community Care Access Centres in Ontario and includes a eligibility assessment process. However, even with these options, families often choose to supplement publicly available care services through private options for top-up assistance. 3Cs Seniors Home Care Services can work with CCAC or any of your service providers to ensure you receive the best possible care.
Will 3Cs Seniors Homecare work with my insurance company?
YES, 3Cs Seniors Homecare Services will work with all of your service providers including your insurance companies to ensure you continue to live with dignity and respect in your own home.

Who are your Caregivers and what training do they have?
3Cs Seniors Home Care Services take great care in ensuring the quality and competency of all our personnel and select only competent and experienced Caregivers.
When screening our Caregivers, we look for individuals who:

are warm, caring and compassionate

genuinely respect our senior members of society and understand their need for independence

are able to care for someone else like they do themselves.
Most of our Caregivers are Personal Support Workers and/or Health Care Aides and/or individuals with CPR and First Aid Certificates. We also hire companion caregivers and homemakers who have developed excellent life-long experiences through their personal lives. All of our Caregivers receive orientation and ongoing training/personal development throughout their employment.
Are your Caregivers Bonded and Insured?
YES, every Caregiver presented to our Client is bonded and insured. Each Caregiver undergoes a rigorous screening process including criminal, background and employment reference checks before being hired.
Am I able to reserve the same Caregiver for each Visit?
YES, 3Cs Seniors Home Care Services' goal is to create and maintain harmonious partnerships between our Clients and our Caregivers. To this end, we will make all efforts to provide continuity of care with our Client's preferred Caregiver so that he/she can feel safe and cared for.
Do you have a 24-hour line?
YES, to serve our Clients and their families better, we have live Operators to answer all of your calls - any time of day or night, weekday, weekend or holidays.
Is there a minimum number of hours to be purchased?
A minimum service purchase of 3 hours is required. Our minimum Service package includes 4 hours of service.
How do I pay for the Services received?
Services can be purchased online, over the phone or in person. Invoices detailing services will be provided and payment is due upon receipt of invoice. For online purchases, credit card payments will be processed upon confirmation of delivery of service.
Will Caregivers be able to drive me to my appointments using their car or my own?
As an added incentive to our Clients, we provide 1 FREE 2-way Taxi voucher for trips within a 5km radius of their homes. We believe that this will allow our Clients and our Caregivers the freedom to spend their time together in a more productive and supportive manner. For distances further than 5km, charges will be billed as a pass through expense to our Clients.

If you are not satisfied with the services provided by our Caregiver, please contact our office at 905-267-3415 and we will try our best to address and correct the issue to your satisfaction including finding you another Caregiver based on your needs and expectations.
